Time: 8:00am-4:30pm daily

Tuition Fee: $50 (No other fees. This course is offered through a generous grant from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.)

This module is an integrated science curriculum that addresses the physical sciences--what is radiation and radioactivity, the earth sciences--what earth materials are radioactive, and the biological sciences--what effect does radon gas have upon human health.

Teachers who successfully complete the course will receive a curriculum notebook with background information and classroom activities and a kit of materials to teach Units 2 and 3 of the curriculum. Resource kits, which contain all of the necessary materials to teach Unit 1, will be available on a "loan" basis for use in the classroom.
